Pharma
AI Summary
Pharma is where I pair clarity with scale. As Lead UX/UI Designer at Flipside I ran the audit, design-token governance and migration toolkit that moved Haleon's global consumer-health brands onto a single design system. And I designed the Severe Asthma Index, a global data platform spanning 29 OECD countries that won a Sabre Award and two Communiqué Awards for data communication.
In pharma, clarity is not a nicety: it is care.
Health information is high-stakes and often overwhelming. The design job is to make genuinely complex, regulated material usable (for clinicians and policymakers on one hand, patients and the public on the other) frequently on the same platform.
Severe Asthma Index
For the Severe Asthma Index, a global study of severe asthma care across 29 OECD countries, I designed the data platform that turns a dense, weighted index into something you can explore and act on. It won a Sabre Award and two Communiqué Awards, specifically for how it communicates and visualises data.
Haleon
At the scale end sits Haleon. As Lead UX/UI Designer at Flipside on their Destination Strategy, I ran the audit, template system, design-token governance and migration toolkit that moved Haleon’s global consumer-health brands (Sensodyne, Voltaren, Centrum and more) onto a single design system, working across Publicis, AKQA and Interbrand.
Alongside this sits deeper work across the sector, with brands including Roche, Novartis and Nurofen. The common thread: the rigour a regulated audience demands, and the human clarity a patient needs, at the same time.
