A new television interface for Digicel Play, designing live TV, EPG and on-demand experiences for the set-top box.

Introduction

I joined the Wonderful & Brilliant team in Jamaica to help develop a new interface for Digicel Play, as part of the team designing the live, EPG and on-demand services.

Design a coherent television experience across live TV, the electronic programme guide and on-demand, built for the 10-foot screen and remote-driven navigation.

Strategic thinking & planning

Contributed to the live, EPG and on-demand designs; generated design specifications and a UI guide; and developed the visual style: a dark, cinematic interface for browsing a large catalogue from the sofa.

Outcomes

A cohesive television experience across live, guide and on-demand, backed by the design specifications and UI guide that let the wider team build it consistently.
