A fitness & wellbeing platform I founded and designed end to end, giving people access to plans from professional athletes, celebrities and nutritionists they’re inspired by.

Introduction

I founded Unifi to help people achieve their health and fitness goals through access to professional athletes, teams, celebrities and nutritionists. As founder I wore many hats, from filming content to designing the app.

Build a platform where people find the plans that genuinely inspire them, organised around the “Unifiers” (the experts behind each plan) rather than generic categories, and make it effortless to use.

Strategic thinking & planning

User personas and journey mapping; wireframes built around discovery; UI, art and creative direction for a premium feel; and I directed and edited the video content at the heart of the experience, so design and content were built for each other.

Outcomes

Unifi secured a roster of professional and celebrity partners (Olympic swimmer Michael Jamieson, world champion triathlete Non Stanford, dancers Karen Hauer and Dianne Buswell, and more) and reached a commercial agreement with The Hut Group.
